Description
This local fishing boat with a turquoise sail and the water ripples and textures on the surface of Lake Titicaca made for a lovely selective colour image. Lake Titicaca is said to be the world's highest navigable lake and is also the 14th largest by volume. It is located 3810m / 12,500ft above sea level and is shared by Peru and Bolivia. This image was taken on the part known as the Inner Lake / Huinay Marka in Bolivia. In the foreground are some totora reeds, which are common around the shores of the lake.
